Programs are based on the grade completed May/June 2013.

Sr. High Big Bend Adventure

completed 9th-12th
Are you ready for an EXTRA-LONG week adventure? This is a Saturday to Saturday trip of a lifetime. Learn about the vast beaty of God’s creation. You’ll start your adventure at Lutherhill and journey to Big Bend National Park. Sharpen your outdoor skills and put them to the test under the big open skies of Texas! Spend time camping, hiking, cooking out, and rafting the Rio Grande. The wild west Texas desert will provide a great opportunity for Bible study and faith exploration.

We reserve the right to cancel this program if minimum participation requirements are not met. Deposit and Camp Fees would be refunded in full.

Dates: Saturday, June 15 – Saturday, June 22
Fee: $450

Sr. High Texas Adventure Camp

completed 9th-12th
Experience a week of adventure! Three nights will be spent at Lutherhill and two nights will be experienced in creation AWAY from Lutherhill.
This adventure is geared toward high school students that don’t want to miss out on the Lutherhill experience, but are seeking more adventure than the normal week of camp has to offer. Spend time on the ropes course, canoe the Colorado River and hike Texas (well, maybe not the whole state). There will also be time for Bible study and exploring more about your faith. Join us for a week of physical and faith adventures.

Adventures may vary depending upon group sizes, weather and other unforseen factors.

Jr. High Texas Adventure Camp

completed 6th-8th
Experience a week of adventure! This adventure is geared toward junior school students that don’t want to miss out on the Lutherhill experience, but are seeking more adventure than the normal week of camp has to offer. Spend time on the ropes course, canoe the Colorado River and hike Texas (well, maybe not the whole state). There will also be time for Bible study and exploring more about your faith. Join us for a week of physical and faith adventures.

Adventures may vary depending upon group sizes, weather and other unforseen factors.

Dates: June 23-28, July 14-19
Fee: $400

Sr. High Service Experience

completed 9th-12th
Take time this summer to give to communities in need. You will have the opportunity to travel and exerpience the gift of service to others while spending 3 nights onsite at Lutherhill and 2 nights away from camp. Join local and surrounding communities in defferent service projects. Bible Studies, Worship, and Games led by Lutherhill Staff while away from camp. All meals and transportation included. Join us for a week of service and faith adventures.

Jr. High Service Experience

Alpha

completed 1st grade
They are young, but they are ready for a life changing camp adventure. This is a great half-week (Sunday – Wednesday) introduction to camp and includes various camp games, Bible study, camp songs, s’mores.

Youngn’s

completed 2nd-3rd grade
They’re ready to spend a whole week at Lutherhill!

Dates: June 9-14, July 14-19, July 28-August 2, August 4-9

Yearlings

completed 4th-6th grade
They will get to do all the great camp activities that the Youngn’s experience PLUS have a campout. NOTE: sixth graders have the opportunity to attend either the Yearling or Adventurer Program, depending on the age group your camper would like to be grouped with.

Adventurer’s

They’re ready for more adventure! We have all of their favorite camp activities PLUS they get to tackle the high ropes course! NOTE: sixth graders have the opportunity to attend either the Yearling or Adventurer Program, depending on the age group your camper would like to be grouped with.

Confirmation

Lutherhill is the perfect place to bring your confirmation group to learn more about their faith in an outdoor atmosphere. Live together as a Christian community while having all the fun camp has to offer, including the high ropes course.

Family Camp

Trying to plan a family vacation for years and can’t seem to pull it off? Bring the entire family to Lutherhill for this special week! Spend time with your family in God’s creation. Create family memories that will leave your children begging to come back. This week is for moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, godparents, and the kids! Come experience a week with fireworks, bar-b-que and other great activities! Enjoy a week or a partial week.

Dates: June 30-July 5
Fee: Adults (13 and older) $50 per night
Children (12 and under) $30 per night
No charge for children two and younger

LYLE I & II

Lutheran Youth Leadership Experience. This program helps youths understand the dynamics of effective leadership and understand how programs are put together. The program comes in two levels:

LYLE I – (completed 9th-11th grade)
Dates: Session A June 9-21, Session B July 7-19
Fee:$470

LYLE II – (completed LYLE I or 10th grade) This is a two week program. Take the next step in becoming a staff member by building on your experiences at camp and learn, hands on, by shadowing a staff member.

Intern Program

completed 11th grade or LYLE II

Work under the supervision of a Lutherhill summer staff member and learn what it would be like to be on staff for the summer. There are two sessions for you to choose from:

Session A (June 16-July 12)
Session B (July 14-August 9)

This program is open to youths who have completed LYLE II or are entering their senior year in high school.

Summer Activities: Arts &Crafts, Low Ropes, High Ropes (Adventurers and older), the Blob, Field Games, Gaga Ball, Bible Study, Campfires, Labyrinth, Camp Outs (Yearlings and older), Archery, Worships, Camp Games, Swimming, Evening Cabin Devotions, Camp Songs, Learning, and Having Fun!

1. Select a program and session date that is appropriate for your child according to the grade which they will have completed during the 2012-2013 school year.

2. Register Early! All campers are registered on a first come first serve basis. Register Online (click here) or complete the Registration Form and return it to us by mail or fax. All registrations must be accompanied by a non-refundable $100 deposit which is applied to the cost of your program. Note: Make sure to check with your congregation to see if they are registering as a group before you register as an individual.

2B. LYLEs. After we receive the Registration Form and $100 deposit we will send a LYLE Application . Once we have received the LYLE Application back, the LYLE is officially registered.

3. You are Registered! A Camp Packet will be sent electronically to the e-mail address you provide. If an email address in not provided we will send the Camp Packet via postal mail. The Camp Packet will include mandatory forms, a what-to-bring list, and other important information to prepare you and your child for camp.

4. Balances due by May 15, 2013. Remaining balances received after May 15 will have an additional $15 late charge applied to the balance. If you register after May 15, balances are due in full at the time of registration; otherwise a $15 late fee will be charged.

Early Bird Registration. When we receive your registration and minimum deposit, before February 15 you will receive $20 ( or 5% for family camp) off your camp fees! Does not apply to pastor and sponsor registrations.

Pastor and Sponsor Discount. Receive a 20% discount when accompanying a group to Lutherhill. Discount does not apply to Sr. High Big Bend Adventure program.

Siblings Discount. $30 off of younger siblings’ camp fees. (Sorry, discount does not apply to Family Camp.)

Multiple Program/Session Discount. $30 off of any additional camp programs/sessions when a camper attends camp more than once during the summer.

Bring a Friend Discount. If you bring a friend who has never been to camp before, you or your friend can take $30 off of the camp fee, or share the discount at $15 a piece.

Refund Policy. The deposit of $100 is non-refundable. Camp fees are only refundable if cancellation is made more than 30 days before your camper’s arrival date. We understand that a family emergency may arise. Exceptions may be made and fees prorated in the event of a family emergency.
